Kleine Münsterländer Group North America

KlM-GNA is the premier Kleine Münsterländer breed club in North America. Our mission is all about the dogs—preserving the classic Kleine Munsterlander (Small Munsterlander) through a close partnership with the breed’s parent club in Germany (KlM-D).

Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar Group North America

Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar is a breed organization dedicated to the development, breeding and continuous improvement of the versatile hunting Drahthaar. Its organizational objectives are achieved by means of stringent breeding regulations, practical field tests, and high standards of conduct. Group North America (GNA) was formed in August, 1971, by a small group of dedicated sportsmen and women.

NA-JGV

NA-JGV is a member organization of the JGHV (Jagdgebrauchshundverband), the umbrella organization of all versatile hunting dog clubs in Germany. By evaluating the breeding quality of dogs through examination of their performance record and that of their offspring, breeders are able to consistently produce capable dogs for the modern foot hunter. These dogs exhibit a high degree of cooperation and trainability coupled with an ability to handle any game.

North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association

The North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) is a group of like-minded people with one thing in common: we all enjoy the thrill of hunting over a well trained versatile dog. NAVHDA has over 95 chapters throughout the US and Canada devoted to helping members train their dogs for upland and waterfowl hunting. NAVHDA sponsors several hundred noncompetitive “tests” each year, where dogs are judged to a set of standards in situations designed to simulate real-world upland and waterfowl hunting scenarios.

Potomac Chapter of NAVHDA

We are the oldest regional NAVHDA chapter, established May 10, 1972. Our committed members have been training their own dogs and helping new members learn to train dogs for years. Chapter members come from all walks of life and have varying levels of experience, from first time owners to seasoned handlers.  We are very lucky to have several NAVHDA judges and apprentice judges as members, who have a wealth of experience.
